Graphic Design
A sample showing my use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. The above logo was done for Alfred University's Reunion. It is based upon the movie Drums Along the Mohawk, and the logo is printed on T-shirts, banners, and posters.

Poster design I entered in a contest for the annual Mushroom Festival in Kennet Square, PA. The theme was a 1960's theme; I played off posters from that time with the nostalgic colors.
I created a self portrait using only different colored and sized fonts. The words making up my face are song lyrics that inspire me.
I created a packaging design for an Emperor Tamarin Monkey. The point of the design is to turn the animal into a product. I used illustrator to make whimsical and comical depictions of the monkey.
I designed a poster for the Rochester Jazz Festival in 2011. One of the major featured artists was Elvis Costello, so I painted a watercolor rendition of him with some abstract shapes giving free forms representing the flow of music.
For my graphic design class, we rebranded our college by giving them a new logo and division icons. I made mine logo in Illustrator, which was based on a drawing I did. I wanted to give a free form, hand quality look to represent how I feel my college is. I incorporated the school's colors, and other colors found throughout the art building. This is a sample business card using the new logo.
These are the Division Icons that go along with the logo I designed for my college. I wanted to keep them along the same lines as my abstracted logo. I used similar crescent shape forms as well as similar colors. The point of the icons is to create a symbol that easily identifies where the locations can be found within the school.
For my Junior graphic design class, we had to design a food truck. Since I love pierogies, I decided to make a food truck highlighting all the different kinds. I wanted to make it an organic, locally grown vegetable business, so I gave the truck an organic feel to it.
For my final project for my Junior Graphic Design class, I created a board game that helps artists and writers work through the creative process to create a final end result. The game is playable, and I made an actual prototype. For the game board here, I made the icons in Illustrator, and roughly based my board off of Candy Land. The spaces with writing on them send the player to a stack of cards that give helpful tips or a task to complete for their project in order to continue in the game.
This instruction sheet goes inside the board game box and is the first thing you see when you open the game.
These are the cards you use when you land on a designated spot in the board game and you follow the instructions. Since it is an interactive board game, I left some cards to be filled in with the player's own tips.
This is the cover of the board game. I painted the image on the front and incorporated it into the design.
A mock magazine layout I made for the artist Kako.
Mock currency I made for the town of Alfred celebrating both colleges.
BFA poster I designed for the show highlighting textures and colors found around the art school.
